For Your Consideration, A "Free Blagojevich" Sign
As a judge considers the future of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich today, Flickr user Statevillain submitted this photo to the Chicagoist Flickr pool for your consideration. The creator of this "Free Blagojevich" sign clearly wasn't enthusiastic enough to design more ambitious signage to support this unpopular opinion. The photographer writes that officials should let Blagojevich "flip on all the crooked politicians he's done dirty business with," but we imagine he tried that -- and just about everything else. The chances of Blagojevich being "free" anytime soon look pretty slim. The judge said this afternoon that Blagojevich was "clearly the ringleader" and called "absurd" the defense's argument that he was manipulated.
