Jose "Papo" Santiago
Local Latin jazz bandleader Jose "Papo" Santiago builds on the legacies of the legacies of Ismael Rivera, Luigi Texidor, Marvin Santiago, Isaac Delgado, and "El Tiburon" Morales. In his improvisations, he combines street-wise sense of humor with a unique approach to rhythm and swing. Santiago stands as an icon of the harmonious fusion of classic influences with the most innovative trends in tropical music. SmallBar celebrates the release of its first collaborative beer, with Greenbush Brewing, Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Mr. Hyde is a Sumatran coffee milk stout coming in at 7.8% ABV.
