"A day that will live in infamy" is what Franklin Delano Roosevelt said of Dec.7. Today is the 70th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor. We were in sixth grade when the 40th anniversary of the country's entry into World War II was reached. Damn, we're old. But we digress. Today's weather calls for a chill in the air coupled with the clouds we've been dealing with all week. Skilling Central says there's a chance for scattered afternoon showers, possibly flurries, with a high in the mid-30s.

    I had a flight to LA yesterday and sat behind one of the sailors that survived Pearl Harbor. He was headed back to Honolulu for the first time since then. The End.
