Morning Box Score: Illinois Struggles to Beat St. Bonaventure, DePaul Beats Loyola

The Illini struggled against St. Bonaventure for much of the game. Then Brandon Paul took over the game. Paul finished with a game-high 17 points and added five rebounds, five assists and three steals to bring Illinois back from a 26-24 halftime deficit.

DePaul 69, Loyola 58

Oliver Purnell's Blue Demons traveled north to the Gentile Center and earned their first road win of the season. Moses Morgan scored 13 points, Krys Faber had 12 and Jamee Crockett and Jeremiah Kelly had 11 apiece as DePaul went into halftime with a 47-17 lead they wouldn't relinquish. The Blue Demons also extended their winning streak against the Ramblers to 11 games.
