Wilco and WXRT released a video from the band's performance at the Metro last week, one of their five holiday shows in Chicago. This was the band's first performance at the Metro, and WXRT writes that this song, "Sunken Treasure," is the opening song from their set. If you're hankering for more, WXRT has a few photos from Wilco's performance at the Vic Theatre, too.

Wilco did play at Lounge Ax. I'm not sure how many times.

A Lounge Ax ad in the Chicago Reader listed them playing on June 12, 1998 as “Rhymes With Bilco.”

I can't believe that's their first time ever playing Metro. Did they just go straight from Lounge Ax to the Riv? Did they ever even play Lounge Ax or was that just Jeff solo? By the time I moved to Chicago in the summer of '05 they were already huge stars playing big theaters so I'm asking an honest question.
