New Jack Soul pioneer and noted water sports enthusiast R. Kelly, most recently found to have put his suburban Chicago mansion on the market in a short sale because he was trapped in a foreclosure suit, dropped this bombshell to a TMZ paparazzo while in Los Angeles. Peep, peeps. If anything calls for a Kickstarter campaign, this is it.

Seems as though filming "Trapped in the Closet" stoked Kelly's desire to be a "movie DIE-rector." He tells the TMZ photog he's written another 32 chapters of "trapped in the Closet" and is looking for financial backing to produce them.

Everyone we knew who watched the first 22 chapters of Kelly's seeming stream-of-consciousness sex fantasy-cum-soap opera couldn't pull themselves away. It also isn't surprising to hear he's looking for backers; the foreclosure lawsuit—filed because he stopped paying his mortgage in an effort to force the loan holders to renegotiate its terms—gives a telling peek into Kelly's financial situation. Maybe he incorporates recent stories in his life like explaining what an echo is in one of the chapters. Or he engages in a fight club, while Fat Joe sits outside wondering what the deal is, in another.

We only hope the new chapters have the comedic timing of Chapter 13. Kells is no Tarantino, but he has a way with dialogue.
