WI Congressman Says Michelle Obama Has A Big Butt

Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner (R - WI) said First Lady Michelle Obama has a big butt while criticizing her "Let's Move!" campaign to promote healthy living. He has since sent her a personal apology, but then again he said it twice in front of voters before he realized it was a rude, bitchy thing to say.

He said it at a church Christmas bazaar in Hartford, Wis., in front of church member Ann Marsh-Meigs. She told Politico, “He just assumed everyone sitting at the table would agree with him and think it was funny" The Tribune writes:

"He then talked about how different first ladies have had different projects -- Laura Bush and literacy -- and he named two or three others. And then he said, 'And Michelle Obama, her project is obesity. And look at her big butt,'" Marsh-Meigs told [Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reporter Daniel] Bice.

When 72-year-old retiree Marsh-Meigs defended the First Lady, Sensenbrenner conceded that Obama is "elegant". Then, Sensenbrenner had a cell phone conversation within earshot of attendees, "seeming to brag about the confrontation with Marsh-Meigs." He talked about buying all the church "crap" — which in and of itself is a dick move. Then, "when a woman began complimenting the first lady and he told her '"she lectures us on eating right while she has a large posterior herself.'"

That sounds more like something a sorority sister would say while hazing pledges and circling their fat than what we'd expect from an elected official charged with running our country

You are apparently not watching Congress closely. We have hit a new low in terms of willingness to act like rational adults, let alone responsible caretakers of the Constitution.

Sensennbrenner is taking cues from Rush Limbaugh who has made similar statements. Of course neither of them are paragons of fitness...nor have either done anything in support of the truly noble work that the first lady has undertaken on childhood nutrition. I guess they were too busy staring at her bootie to take a sensible position on the real issues...sigh...

Openly racist, vile, and not really so.  Apparently he's never checked out a mirror either.

I think he also said the sky was blue...

So, Sensenbrenner's not a big Sir Mix-A-Lot guy? That's surprising. Also, anyone else see any similarities?
