Your Morning Wake-Up Call for January 1, 2012
Chuck Sudo/Chicagoist
Happy New Year, everyone. Here's wishing you compliments of the season as we begin the new year. Personally, we've resolved to seizing every day until December 21 or 2013 rolls around, if the Mayans are wrong.
As for today's weather, it's still abnormal but showing signs that we'll soon feel a mid-winter chill in the bones. Skilling Central calls for snow today and a high of 34, with winds gusting up to 50 mph causing blowing snow away from the city and wind chills in the teens. Now, if you'll excuse us, we need to get our first bowl of New Year's Hoppin' John out of the way.
