Did you check your heating units or radiators? Humidifiers at the ready? Have your moisturizer within reach when the air suddenly gets dry? Good. It may be a late start to winter in Chicago, but this is nothing we haven't done before and we should act like it. As a matter of fact, we went back into the Chicagoist archives to check out the weather forecast for Jan. 13, 2011 and the high temp was in the low 20s. The National Weather Service has a winter weather advisory from 9 a.m. today until 9 a.m. tomorrow where we should expect between 4-8 inches of snow, see the wind chills make it feel near zero degrees outside, and blowing snow reducing visibility. We know how to get through this. Bring it, Old Man Winter.
