2012_1_19_bice.jpg Bice Restaurant in Streeterville is reportedly operating at a reduced capacity after its kitchen staff walked out. They claim, according to sources cited by the Sun-Times, they haven't been paid in a while. Guess everyone has their breaking point.

Bice assistant general manager Ovi Marginean declined to comment on the pay dispute ot walkout, but did confirm to the Sun-Times the restaurant was operating with a reduced staff. They also tried to reach the restaurant's New York headquarters by phone, only to find the number was disconnected. Oops.

As Grub Street Chicago's Mike Gebert wrote, "this may not be a Chicago problem for long."
