Chef Tweet of the Week: Don't Bust Up Tentori's Snowman!

It's becoming something of a Chicago blizzard tradition for restaurants to make snowmen. Last year, it was Frontera Grill during the snowpocalypse. This year, the staff at GT Fish and Oyster created "Little Giuseppe." But some jerk destroyed it, and Chef Giuseppe Tentori is out for blood.

Last Friday, Chris Haisma, the general manager of West Loop restaurant GT Fish and Oyster, tweeted out a picture of a little snowman "guarding GT from the snow storm." It had a carrot nose, a newsboy cap and a broom, and it was totally cute. We smiled a little and moved on.

The next day, Chef Tentori posted (what we can only assume is) security camera footage from GT. "That's is the guy who decapitated the snow man at GT, 1 dozen oyster for the first person to turn in." Some jerk killed Little Giuseppe! That's just out of bounds.

No word on whether the culprit has been found. Let's start a city-wide manhunt—after all, a dozen oysters are at stake!
