Country Star Paisley To Play Wrigley Field In June

Roger Waters. Bruce Springsteen. Brad Paisley. One of these musicians is unlike the others. (Probably Springsteen.) Two are confirmed to play Wrigley Field.

Country music superstar Paisley will become only the second country music star to hold a concert at the Friendly Confines when he brings a cavalcade of twang to Wrigley June 9. Joining Paisley are Miranda Lambert, Chris Young, Jerrod Niemann, and The Band Perry. Paisley tends to tour during the warm months with a large bill of acts, but it's unknown if this is the roster that will stay with him on the road or if this is a one-off show for Wrigley Field.

Paisley has some local ties: his wife, actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley, was a regular on According to Jim and attended Northwestern University, but left as a sophomore to film Father of the Bride with Steve Martin.
