Everything Is Terrible Goes To The Dogs Friday At Lincoln Hall

2012_1_24_doggiez.jpeg Alejandro Jodorowsky's The Holy Mountain, a psychedelic trip about Jesus searching for enlightenment, has attained cult status as much for the story of how Jodorowsky prepared himself and his actors for filming as much as for the film's imagery. It became a sensation at the 1973 Cannes Film Festival for its sacrilegious imagery and and existential symbolism.

Which makes it the perfect film for the folks at Everything is Terrible to remake, only with found footage of dogs. That film, DoggieWoggiez! PoochieWoochiez!, is set for release on Friday. As if shit couldn't get any more surreal.

The film's producers are also on a screening tour of the film that comes to Lincoln Hall for a 10 p.m. screening Friday. In addition to screening the film, ETI will perform a "live in the fur" show with full-body mascot costumes that promises to deliver "a psychedelic live show experience that can not be rivaled," picking up "where Cirque Du Soleil and The Rock-A-Fire Explosion left off."
