Rep. Quigley Honors Lin Brehmer And WXRT In Congress
U.S. Rep. Mike Quigley gave a speech on the floor of Congress to recognize the 40th anniversary of WXRT 93.1 and morning show host Lin Brehmer's 20th anniversary with the station. Quigley said if you want to see "the true heart and soul of Chicago" drive down Lake Shore Drive with the radio blaring WXRT, and if you want to celebrate a true "Chicago institution," celebrate Brehmer.
