Chicago's Shedd Aquarium Adopts Orphaned Baby Sea Otter

The Shedd Aquarium has a precious new resident: A 10-week-old southern sea otter named Cayucos. She was found stranded near the town of Cayucos, Calif., in December, and she was brought to the Shedd where their sea otter experts have nursed her back to health, giving her care and attention 24 hours a day. You can't see her yet, since she'll be behind-the scenes recovering and learning how to groom, forage and feed.

Cayucos is already a star. She was even on the Today Show this morning, which you can watch below. Warning: It's so cute you might pass out.

You can read more about Cayucos on the Shedd Aquarium's website.
