If you look at the NHL's Western Conference standings, the Blackhawks currently hold the number six playoff seed. Lately, they haven't been playing as though they want to make the postseason, let alone be competitive. Avalanche rookie Gabriel Landeskog scored 38 seconds into the third period to break a 2-2 tie and Colorado proceeded to pepper Ray Emery in goal the rest of the game. David Jones added two goals for Colorado, which snapped a five-game losing streak. The Blackhawks have lost six straight, are 3-5-2 in their last 10 games and are playing of late like they won't win another game this season. Brent Seabrook and PAtrick kane scored for the Hawks.
