Bomb Scare At Museum Campus Amounts To Hill Of Beans
A section of the Museum Campus was shut down for about two hours while bomb and arson squads investigated a suspicious package, but the whole ordeal amounted to a hill of beans.
Well, to be more accurate, it was a box of beans.
The Tribune reports the package was near the Field Museum, but the Sun-Times reports the package was near Soldier Field. Either way, McFetridge Drive between Museum Campus Drive and Lake Shore Drive was shut down for about two hours, resulting in CTA reroutes and a backup on Lake Shore Drive.
