Pencil This In: Der 3 Floyds Uberfall

2012_2_20_PTI.jpg The hottest local beer right now has to be Three Floyds Zombie Dust. Fans of the Munster brewery can't get their hands on the single-hopped ale fast enough, and bars around town are out of it almost as soon as they tap a keg of it.

Which makes tonight's Zombie Dust on cask the star attraction of Der 3 Floyds Uberfall at The Fountainhead. Beer Director Phil Kuhl will also be serving Das Kleine Schwarz Einhorn and Tiger Jelly in addition to the cask Zombie Dust, to create what he calls a "three-headed monster" of Three Floyds beers. Some bottles of the brewery's "Bitch Please" ale will also be available.

But the Zombie Dust will be tapped at 7:06 p.m. or, as Kuhl calls it, "6:66 p.m."
