Pencil This In: Two Brothers' "Hoodwink" Tapping At Cole's

By Chuck Sudo in Food on Feb 21, 2012 5:20PM

2012_2_21_PTI.gif Two Brothers Brewing's Hoodwink is a dark sour ale that is part of their Project Opus series, where they challenge themselves with new and unusual tastes. The beer has complex sour notes that pair brilliantly with the dark malt character. Hoodwink proved to be very popular when it was released months ago and bottles of the beer are now near impossible to buy.

Two Brothers has one barrel left of Hoodwink—and it's only a sixth barrel—they'll be tapping at 6 p.m. Thursday night at Cole's Bar in Logan Square. Once this barrel is drained, the beer is gone for good, but Two Brothers will plenty of other beers for you to try. Don't miss your chance to try it.
