2011_09_Permanent_Records.jpg In their weekly newsletter, Chicago/L.A. record store Permanent Records announced a two-day SXSW send-off fest called Sausage Fest. Teaming up with labels Captcha Records, Trouble In Mind Records, Rotted Tooth Recordings, and Moniker Records, the Empty Bottle-hosted extravaganza includes trash throwbackers Zath, noise-punks Running, melodic rockers Heavy Times, Cave offshoot Bitchin Bajas, and noise-niks Bad Drugs.

Two day passes for the March 10-11 affair are a measly $15, though $8 advance individual tickets are also available. (For Saturday and Sunday, respectively). In the newsletter, Permanent promises free food, swag bags, and, additionally, more details to come. Between this and Blackout Fest, we should probably just camp out at the Bottle, living off PBR and poutine fumes. There are worse ways to eke out an existence.
