Get Ready For Summer With Ravinia's 2012 Lineup

Ravinia announced the schedule today for this summer's varied festival of pop and classical acts. This summer also marks conductor James Conlon's 35th season. In June, they'll welcome Earth, Wind & Fire, Iron & Wine, Al Green, Jimmy Cliff, Nnenna Freelon, Esperanza Spalding, Sarah McLachlan and Steve Martin and the Steep Canyon Rangers.

In July, the schedule is packed with Chicago Symphony Orchestra shows. James Taylor plays two shows, and Dan Aykroyd and Jim Belushi will perform as the Blues Brothers. Other pavilion acts include Santana, Natalie Merchant, BoDeans, Tedeschi Trucks Band and Seal. In August

In August we have Crosby, Stills & Nash, Train, Tony Bennett, Duran Duran, Momix, Arlo Guthrie with Mary Chapin Carpenter perform. The Knights close things out with three shows in September.

Ravinia donors can order tickets early. The general public can order tickets on April 26.
