God Bless Indiana and their funny crime stories. Here's the latest. A 25-year-old man was arrested by Porter County (Ind.) sheriff's deputies for running from them. But it was his rationale for fleeing that makes this story memorable.

Jared Wilson of Center Township, Ind.—although one could assume he lives in Logan Square with that mustache—was riding his bicycle through Rogers Lakewood Park after the park closed Monday when police tried to stop him.

Wilson, displaying sound thinking, got off his bike and ran into the woods. A three-minute foot chase ended when Wilson tripped and fell. After he was handcuffed, Wilson answered questions by sheriff's deputies about why he ran.

"Wilson reportedly said 'you only live once,' and that he 'always wanted to run from the cops.' The officer said Wilson added he had a good lead and thought he could get away."

Wilson allegedly had a .10 blood alcohol content. He was issued a trespass warning and banned from the park.
