Cops Cockblock At Wisconsin Nude Beach

If you want to sunbathe in the nude in Wisconsin, a secluded section of beaches along the Wisconsin River near the small town of Mazomanie north of Madison is for you. However some folks have been sneaking off to the surrounding woods to have sex, and the local authorities have had enough.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources has decided to cockblock the public from the nearby woods to discourage the activities, assuming folks would behave themselves in the open. Some folks aren't so sure that will keep people in check. The Tribune writes:
"They were having sex right on the islands, the sandbars when the river was lower," said Ruth Bender, who owns property directly across the river from the beach. "People can't understand something like that is going on. That's a nice section of the river. I don't know what fun they get out of that."
Nudists laid claim to the beach because "liberal" Dane County prosecutors and police shrugged off nudity charges. While Wisconsin law does ban "publicly and indecently" exposing one's genitals, local officials have ignored it saying the person must be causing a disturbance.
