Iowa Girl Takes Cardboard Cutout Of Tebow To Prom

Rachel Bird of Kingsley tweeted at Tebow weeks ago to ask him to join her because she didn't have a date to her prom on April 28. Well he didn't respond, so we don't know if the mediocre quarterback and religious icon makes for pleasant company on the dance floor.
The date Bird brought instead sounds like he was way more fun. She found a nice picture of Tebow in a suit and a tie, got a discount on a blow-up photo from Staples and glued the photo to a big piece of cardboard. They added back supports and a wooden handle, and there was her date.
Tebow, she said with a laugh, smiled throughout the grand march. He joined Bird at the dance. And while his handle broke when some of the boys passed him around during a fast song, Tebow remained gracious, ever the gentleman."He was a cheap date, and he didn't talk much," Bird joked. "And when I asked him to stand in a corner, he did. I don't think it even hurt his feelings."
She ditched him when she went to the after-prom party saying, "He was tired. He'd been smiling all night." Huh. Sounds like he was way more fun than most of our prom dates. Maybe Tebow will join her at a college dance, so she can find out if Tebow has more personality than a chunk of cardboard.
