Sen. Mark Kirk Releases Video Describing His Stroke Recovery

U.S. Senator Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) released this video to show his progress in his rehabilitation after suffering a stroke in January. Saying he is enrolled in a walking study at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Kirk shows footage of himself walking while covered in wires, saying he hopes "to climb the 45 steps that my staff counted from the parking lot to the Senate front door to fight for the people of Illinois."
