Did you make it to the Southern last night for the crawfish boil? And did you make it to Toon's over the weekend for theirs? If you missed out on these crawfish extravaganzas, don't despair. There is yet another opportunity for you to get your hands on some tail and suck on some heads. (...anything? Come on.)

McGee's Tavern and Grill is hosting its 23rd Annual Headsuckers Ball this Saturday, May 19. McGee's says that they are flying in 2000 pounds of crawfish. That's literally a ton of crawfish. That's a smart car with a full gas tank and a 200-pound dude inside worth of crawfish. There will also be jambalaya, red beans and rice, and gumbo.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door and it's all you can eat. Doors open at 10:00 a.m. Live music starts at 2:00 p.m., but you'll probably want to get there early to get a good seat and plenty-o-little red guys.

McGee's Tavern & Grille is at 950 West Webster.
