Reggie Watts is a sight to see, for real. The guy is mostly hair, with an afro and beard that barely leave room for his face peek out. He’s been all over, from being a regular on Conan O'Brien's show—even accompanying him on his “Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour,”—to playing with LCD Soundsystem in their final shows in NYC, proving that yes, the comedian is actually also a talented musician. Why just make music when you can be funny while doing it, right?

Watts has got the beatboxing/looping thing down and creates some hilarious masterpieces, like the classic “Fuck Shit Stack,” in the process. His brand new special, Reggie Watts: A LIVE AT CENTRAL PARK (out on CD/DVD yesterday) features some great new songs captured, you guessed it, live in Central Park. There’s one about, um, “having sex,” one about how to “tweet yourself right” and one that’s just “so good yeah” that tells us exactly why we should drop $200 bucks on a good pair of headphones. Life lessons, people.

Though it’s a good thing the package comes with both a CD and DVD because things like his Thom Yorke impression on “Reggieohead” are just better seen than simply heard. Tonight, May 16, you can see some of these gems in real life, in person, when Watts plays the Vic tonight at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $24.
