Chicagoist's mail slot is constantly clogged by the numerous press releases we have coming over the transom, and while most are mediocre and unworthy of coverage at best, occassionally we get a real gem. Today's winner was tossed our way by Chicago band Unicycle Loves You. It reads:

"The label rep for this band is named Jonny Leather, and this band just SOUNDS like the sort of band that WOULD have a label rep named Jonny Leather. I could fart marbles against a tin sheet and sound better than this. Come over and test that theory if you want. Bring Jonny." —Vice

Never ones to turn down a challenge, we'd love for the music critics at Vice to back their talk and indeed fart marbles against a tin sheet. We will be prepared to hire unbiased judges to compare the marble farts against Unicycle Loves You's latest record, Failure. If the farted marbles strike the tin with a sound worthy of admiration above that of Failure, then we at Mecca Lecca and Unicycle Loves You will accept the fate of being ripped on to ANY extent by the purveyors of cool at Vice.
