Sheboygan Museum Holds Awkward Family Photos Show

By Amy Cavanaugh in Arts & Entertainment on Jun 23, 2012 8:00PM

The beauty behind Awkward Family Photos is that deep in our photographic archives, we all have photos that we hope never see the light of day. If you've never been to the amazing site or seen the two books it spawned, click over there when you have at least an hour to waste, or head to Sheboygan for a show of the photos at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center.

The show, which opened June 17, is an open exhibition, which means you can dig out your own photos and bring them to the Center to be put on display. You can also post your images online at the Center's Facebook page for the chance to win prizes. There are 51 images from the website and Sheboygan families on view in the show, which runs through October 27.
