Pencil This In: Gnomedependence Day

By Amy Cavanaugh in Arts & Entertainment on Jul 1, 2012 6:00PM

If you're looking for a fun way to spend Independence Day, Peterson Garden Project is holding "Gnomedependence Day," which features a garden gnome decorating contest with prizes, food from local food trucks, a lemonade stand, garden tours, and other activities.

The event is free, but if you want to decorate a gnome, it's $25 and you'll need to get the blank gnome in advance. The garden is located at 3000 W. Lawrence Ave. and you can get more information here.
