Today's Weather: Febrile

Let's state the obvious: It's hot. So let's deal with it. The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement through 4 p.m., but that statement should apply through Saturday because we aren't deviating from the weather script until at least Sunday. Today and throughout the week expect highs in the mid-to-upper 90s with humidity pushing the heat index well past 100. So stay hydrated, stay cool and be smart when you're outside.
