Hackers Attack Cubs, White Sox Facebook Pages

By Chuck Sudo in News on Aug 2, 2012 9:20PM

Some hackers have been having fun with the official Facebook pages of many Major League Baseball teams. The pages for the Cubs and White Sox did not go unscathed.

Check out the message that was scrubbed from the Cubs’ page expressing a sentiment about Number One Fan Bill Murray we feel is shared by many.

Then there was this message that was shared on the White Sox' page where the hacker reveals how he or she may vote this November.

Give the hackers a B for accessing the pages, but a C-minus for the humor used in conjunction with Our Town's teams. (Although the post on the Washington Nationals' page announcing the team was moving back to Montreal was inspired.) Hackers also attacked the Facebook pages for the New York Yankees, San Diego Padres, Miami Marlins and San Francisco Giants.
