On Saturday, Aug. 4, Miller Lite is giving away $25 Visa gift cards to people with Miller for a first, middle or last name. Dubbed "Miller Time On Us," the giveaway events are taking place in nine different US cities, and the good people of Miller Lite hope the recipients will use the card to sponsor some "Miller Time" with their friends.

In an informal survey, we asked our friend Max Miller (really) what he would do with the $25 due him because of his noble heritage. He revealed that he “would probably just spend it on better beer.”

The giveaway takes place at NBC Plaza, 401 N. Michigan, between 1p.m. and 4p.m. and you must have a valid ID and be 21 or over to claim the prize due to your namesake.

Don't get us wrong, free money is free money. However, all the Vortex Bottles and Punch-Top Cans in the world are unlikely to convince us to use that free money to buy a case of Miller Lite. Instead, we'd opt for a Growler of Half Acre and a bomber of Three Floyds Dreadnaught. We may have to come out of pocket for the tax, but there is no doubt that it would be worth it.
