Police have arrested a 19-year-old man who allegedly punched an 11-year-old girl in the stomach to steal her souvenir Lollapalooza beach ball. The girls' mother Michelle Fiore said they were leaving the festival walking on Jackson Boulevard Sunday evening carrying beach balls from the festival when four people approached them.

She said the two men and two women were all wearing 3-day wrist band passes. One of the men, Conrad Slimak, approached and demanded the girl's souvenir ball, which the Tribune shows is an Uber.com beach ball. The Tribune writes:

The Tribune writes:

Fiore, who at first thought the person was goofing around, replied that she didn’t want to hand them over and lightheartedly suggested: “Sure, that will be $50.’’

Fiore said the man became upset and said, "I’m a college student. Does it look like I have money?"

Police said the man then punched the 11-year-old in the abdomen while the girl was holding the beach ball. Fiore said she believed the man was trying to get her to drop it.

The little girl is ok. ]Slimak was arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery and assault, and he was cited with being intoxicated while underage. The Reader reports Slimak may also be "a shitty EDM producer" operating as "ConSli RadMak."
