Kanela Breakfast Club: Not Just Breakfast, Anymore

By Minna A in Food on Aug 9, 2012 7:40PM

Kanela is known for their breakfast fare, but just a couple weeks ago, this Lakeview spot began offering diners some dinner options on the weekends.

Meaning “cinnamon” in Greek, Kanela Breakfast Club serves American fare with Greek-inspired twists. The new dinner menu is comprised of several small plate options ranging from roasted vegetable dishes to meatier grub. Try a NY Strip Steak with asparagus, mushroom, carrots and beef jus or, if you're into something a little lighter, order the Ahi Tuna tartare with mustard oil, grapefruit and sesame. Don't forget to save room for dessert! The desserts are made in-house, and like the entrees, are perfect for sharing. Take a scroll through the photos above to get a glimpse at their new dinner menu.

Kanela is located at 3231 N. Clark St., and dinner is offered from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays.
