Local H takes the stage in Bridgeview Saturday.
Street fest season is winding down as the days grow shorter and arguably the best fest this weekend is Chuck's Fest in Bridgeview.

Hosted by Chuck Pine of Chuck's Southern Comfort Café in Burbank, one of the best restaurants in the suburbs, Chuck's Fest has grown over the years into a three-day celebration of food, music and craft beer capable of filling Toyota Park. Sample from over 120 beers by 80 breweries in special tasting sessions Sept. 8. Chuck's will be serving up its signature menu of Cajun and Mexican food and barbeque, which is among the best in the Chicago area.

But it's the music that will have folks flocking to toyota Park, at least on Saturday and Sunday. Friday night's lineup resembles a street fair from the late 90s with Maggie Speaks headlining at 8 p.m. Saturday night's lineup is headlined by Candlebox and Local H. Candlebox takes the stage at 9:30 p.m.; Local H hits at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday is a blues-filled lineup headlined by the blues-rock (rock-blues?) of Ronnie Baker Brooks at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets to Chuck's Fest (Sept. 7-9) are available online. Admission is $5 each day. The festival opens 5 p.m. Sept. 7 and 11:30 a.m. Sept. 8-9.
