Hey Brooklyn, Come To Chicago's Riot Fest!

2012_09_riot_fest_square_logo.jpg While we're eagerly looking forward to the Chicago installment of Riot Fest next weekend, the Brooklyn version that occured got cut a bit short. Due to tornados and other yucky weather events. Yeah, a tornado was spotted in Brooklyn! While a number of the Brooklyn Riot Fest acts ended up playing free shows at a couple indoor venues in New York, many fans had their concert experience cut short.

So Riot Fest decided to invite 'em all to Chicago!

In a statement released over the weekend organizer said, "All RIOT FEST Brooklyn tickets will be honored at no cost for the RIOT FEST & CARNIVAL dates next weekend at Humboldt Park in Chicago on September 15-16."

We appreciate Riot Fest's generosity, and Chicago's hospitality industry would surely appreciate the additional influx of visitors to our fair city. But what would happen if every single ticket holder from Brooklyn showed up? Would pandemonium ensue? Would they even all fit in Humboldt Park? And, most importantly, what would that do to the lines for the carnival rides?!

Single day, two day and VIP tickets are all still available. Snap them up before Brooklyn (possibly) invades!
