A 22-year-old woman and her 15-month-old daughter were wounded when a gunman opened fire in a crowd of people in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

Police say the bullet passed through the mother's arm, but just slightly grazed the girl's leg.

According to the Tribune, police believe the shooting was gang-related and part of turf war between two gangs. The gunman escaped on a bicycle and is still at large.

The mother and daughter are in good condition.
