Bacon Barter Rolls Through Chicago This Weekend

By Amy Cavanaugh in Food on Sep 15, 2012 8:00PM

What would you trade for a slab of thick cut bacon? Josh Sankey is hoping a lot. Sankey, a comedian and actor, is driving a trailer with Oscar Mayer bacon from New York to Los Angeles with nothing but 2,000 pounds of meat. He's in Chicago today and tomorrow, so you may seem him around town bartering for lodging, gas, and food—because something tells us by now this guy is totally bacon'ed out.

You can follow his exploits on Twitter @BaconBarter, and offer him up your couch or anything else you want. Last night he crashed with the Chicago Fire Department. So far he's traded the bacon bricks for tickets to a Jets game, moonshine, and a bacon tattoo, and we think someone in Chicago should offer him a shot of Malort in exchange for some meat.
