La Musica

Guitarist Colin Bunn is best known for his long association with the modern flamenco project Las Guitarras de EspaƱa. He's also played in Andrew Bird's Bowl of Fire and Mike Reed's Treehouse Project. For pure fun, however, Bunn's best group is Los Hombres Perdidos, which enlists local indie rock royalty in adding new twists to classic and original Latin compositions. This band puts forth some of the best dance music around and their local gigs are few and far between. Los Hombres Perdidos plays two shows at Hideout (1354 W. Wabansia) tonight at 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. There's a $5 suggested donation.

Spinning Records

DJ Joe Bryl is the curator of "45 Fever—A Celebration of the 7-Inch Single" at Maria's Packaged Goods and Community Bar every Thursday presented in partnership with Dusty Groove. On Sept. 20, Michael Latham will dig deep into his crates and spin 60s psychedelia starting at 9 p.m. (960 W. 31st St., no cover.)
