It's Been A Good Year For Time-Lapse Videos Of Chicago

It's been a good year for time-lapse videos with Chicago as the subject. Here's our latest favorite: Eric Hines parlayed his fascination with Chicago at night to create this video using over 30,000 photographs shot between July and October to create this 3-1/2 minute time lapse of various Chicago settings at night, from Millennium Park to expressways. Hines used Hotel 71 and the Hard Rock Hotel to get some amazing above street level shots, as well.

"For me, there has always been a mysterious sort of feeling to Chicago at night, so I decided to explore and capture it," Hines writes of his rationale for making the video.
