Nick Offerman Says What We're All Thinking About New York Pizza

We can have all the debates we want about the best pizza places in Chicago. But the one thing every Chicagoan can agree on? We're better than New York. Nick Offerman (Ron Swanson on Parks and Recreation) agrees with us, and put it better than anyone we've ever heard.
Offerman gave an interview to (of all places) Bon Appetit Magazine, and was asked what his stance was on Chicago vs. New York pizza.
"If properly dried and trimmed, New York-style pizza could be used to make a box for Chicago-style pizza. I love a slice when I'm in NYC, but it's like eating a Slim Jim compared with a filet mignon. One slice of Gino's East stuffed sausage pizza is a bigger meal than an entire New York pie."
Offerman is an Illinois native, so it's possible that he's a bit biased.
The rest of the interview is also pretty awesome. For instance, when asked what Swanson would cook for Thanksgiving dinner, Offerman responded, "A large land fowl that he killed and prepared himself. An array of tubers that were grown in his garden. Freedom Fries. A single-malt Scotch and a gallon or two of home-brewed beer--followed by a cigar for dessert." Yum.
