Photos And Video: Lincoln Park Zoo Welcomes Another Newborn Gorilla

Another baby gorilla has been born at the Lincoln Park Zoo, and it's a girl. Mother 16-year-old Rollie gave birth to the zoo's 52nd western lowland gorilla, and the newborn is the first of the 3rd generation of gorillas at the zoo. Rollie's mother Kowali, 34, just became a grandmother.
The new baby girl is half-sisters with Patty, both sired by 23-year-old silverback Kwan. This is the first time since 2004 that the Lincoln Park Zoo has had two newborns at the same time. Check out photos and video of the other new baby gorilla Patty, too.
