Ms. Mint Moves Holiday Bazaar To Goose Island Clybourn

2012_11_27_msMint.jpg It's that time of year again where local artisans hustle to make their nuts selling their products as gifts for the holidays; many of them will make their presences known at holiday markets across Chicago.

One of our favorite holiday markets is Ms. Mint's Holiday Bazaar. The brainchild of photographer and entrepreneur Kate Gross, this market is chock full of food gifts, books, hand made notions and other gift items—a solid 25 percent of the gift items we bought last year came from Ms. Mint's Holiday Market.

This year's market, scheduled for 4-9:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at Goose Island Clybourn, will be your only chance to sample some of these gift ideas personally, all while sipping on some of Goose Island's beers, Virtue cider and wines from area wineries. Over 25 vendors will be selling their goods, authors Janine MacLachlan, Anna Blessing, and Anupy Singla will be selling their latest books, and sample from local spirits vendors with a $12 tasting ticket. ($15 at the door.)
