Pencil This In: Fête Chicago; Mild Winter South Loop Pub Crawl

Tasting Table editor and former Dose Market partner Heather Sperling has put together what may possibly be the holiday market to end all holiday markets with tonight's Fête Chicago.This pop-up night market from 6-10 p.m. features a who's who of Chicago artisan food vendors, fashion designers and craftspeople. Eat, drink, be merry, and get your shopping done. Tickets ($5) are available here or pay at the door; a portion of the proceeds benefit Fresh Moves a local non-profit that delivers fresh produce to needy neighborhoods via a converted CTA bus. Pub Crawl

Goose Island celebrates the release of its winter seasonal, Mild Winter, with a pub crawl of South Loop bars beginning 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7. The crawl begins at Kroll's South Loop (1736 S. Michigan Ave.) and heads to: Reggie’s (2109 S. State St., 6:30 p.m.), Weathermark (1503 S. Michigan Ave, 7:30 p.m.), Jimmy Greens (825 S. State St., 8:30 p.m.), Flo & Santo’s (1310 S. Wabash Ave., 9:30 p.m.), The Scout (1301 S. Wabash Ave., 10:30 p.m.), and Wabash Tap (1233 S. Wabash Ave., 11:30 p.m.)
