Need a break from all the holiday preparation? Then consider participating in the Admiral Theatre's annual "Lap Dances for the Needy" toy drive running through Dec. 22.

The premise is simple: bring an unused, unwrapped toy to the Admiral, get a lap dance from one of the strip club's dancers and leave with blue balls of holiday cheer. (Limit one dance per customer—don't go running to a Walgreen's and stocking up on cheap toys.)

It's easy to poke fun at the promotion, but the Admiral has donated the toys to churches around Albany Park. (A good gesture or an act of penance? You decide.) The promotion was noted in a Saturday Night Live skit last year where Tina Fey said, "more than your heart will grow three times that day."
