Second place gets $20, a free shot, and a smack on the ass. Floyd's will also have specials on all Christmas beers plus shots of holiday bourbon, glogg, hot cider and egg nog. A free photo booth for your picture taking pleasure will be available that links to facebook so you can tag yourself and your friends in your ugliest sweaters. (1944 N. Oakley)

Don't want to be inundated with holiday film screenings? Head over to the Gene Siskel FIlm Center Dec. 23, where they'll screen Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein at 4:30 p.m. This was Universal Studios' biggest hit of 1948, a classic meeting of the studio's two moneymaking franchises: the comedy duo of Bud Abbott and Lou Costello and Universal's classic monsters. Bela Lugosi and Lon Chaney Jr. reprise their roles as Dracula and the Wolf Man, respectively, while Glenn Strange easily makes the best Monster next to Boris Karloff. (The film also screens 6 p.m. Dec. 26.)
