Slow Food Chicago is doing great work to support local farmers, sustainable food, urban gardening and all the other things we love. What's even better than doing good? Doing good and having fun at the same time. Next Monday, March 4, Slow Food Chicago is hosting "Public Good," a free party and raffle at Danny’s Tavern.

Some of our favorite people will be there serving food and giving away prizes. Cocktails will feature Jo Snow Syrups and raffle prizes are coming from Honey Butter Fried Chicken, Big Star, Publican, The Violet Hour, Big Jones, Tomato Mountain and Scrumptious Pantry. If you like to eat, missing this raffle would be a big mistake.

Danny's will be donating a portion of your bar spending to Slow Food, and all the raffle money goes straight to them. Shake off your Monday blues by mingling with fellow foodies and Slow Food board members. The fun starts at 9 p.m and no tickets are required.

Danny's Tavern is located at 1951 W Dickens Avenue.
