Music

We're guessing there's already a line formed outside the Museum of Contemporary Art's box office for tonight's 6 p.m. performance by Chicago's own White/Light with Sonic Youth's Kim Gordon. Gordon will be improvising on guitar and vocals while White/Light's Jeremy Lemos and Matthew Hale Clark do their very loud and dissonant thing. But it's really about Gordon teaming up with them. Our experience from these shows is it will either be a transcendent performance or it will be a shit show; there's no middle ground when the music is being improvised. The show's free and seating is limited; tickets will be distributed at 5 p.m. (220 E. Chicago Ave.)
