Play With The Official 'Trapped In The Closet' Soundboard At Your Own Risk

Our pals over at Fake Shore Drive tipped us to the existence of the official R. Kelly 'Trapped in the Closet" soundboard today. By "official," we mean "owned and operated by Sony Music."

We'll admit to getting a little bit of joy out of Kelly's ongoing "hip-hopera" and characters like Rufus, Twan, Sylvester, Rosie, Gwendolyn, and Pimp Lucius. But not so much that we want to follow R. Kelly on Twitter or like Trapped in the Closet on Facebook in order to unlock other sound bites. Sony lures visitors to the soundboard a little taste of what the soundboard can do, but in order to unlock the other soundbites you have to perform little social media actions. Now we know how millennials feel being marketed to all the time. Unless this is the type of marketing they like. We don't know — we're old farts.

But if pay for play — and by performing the actions necessary to unlock the other sound bites you are "paying" — is your thing, then go ahead and share, visit, like and follow away.
